“Field Afire” was inspired partially by a television show watched about the aftermath of a global disaster. It made me start thinking about the increase in global warming, natural disasters and wildfires. The wildfires inspired a desire to paint in blazing colors. What resulted was this painting of a hot summer sun beating down on a blackened field still ablaze from the remnants of a wildfire.

This is an original 16×20 inch acrylic painting on stretched canvas. Unframed. Signed by the artist.
