Years ago, when I was in college, I took a watercolor class and fell in love with painting. After the class ended, I continued to experiment with watercolors, including learning to paint animals. Now that I have switched to acrylics, I’m painting various animals to see how acrylics compare to watercolors. I like the acrylics because of the ability to create brighter colors and more interesting layering.
Continuing a series of animal paintings, “Mountain Panda” is an original acrylic painting on a small 8 x 8 inch stretched canvas.
